THANKS FOR THE QUICK RESPONSE.

I did only wish to report the bug on ubuntu1.... the comment on the wine 
and point of sale program was to see if there was any interest in a 
point of sale program that does NOW RUN on wine.  Wine has updated and 
now works!!!

I have some of the files that became conflicted and stored together in 
the ubuntu1 that is running on my xp at work, but I cannot access it to 
find the version... is says there is an error and closes.... It did 
however, offer an update before it crashed.. does that help for the 
version? The files are dbf and mem files that run under clipper or dbase.

I have kept them because I never went back to it, and I can forward them 
if you need.
