I have the same problem with this laptop and the Atheros AR9285. I have tried everything and it's still buggy. I tried to install a different wifi card but Lenovo BIOS did not let me do it. I have to use USB wifi adapter to connect. The internal card connects but it is very, very slow and disconnects by itself every once in a while.
