Hi Damon, You seem to have quite a few separate problems in this report; we really need each one as a separate report.
Now the problem with the check disk for defects is normally a real problem; it normally means that it's actually a bad CD burn or drive, and any hang ups after that during the install are difficult to separate from that 1st problem; if you've got a spare USB thumb drive, I'd try that - it avoids all the pain of burning CDs. If you have further problems there it's probably best to raise a support request; in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. You can also find help with your problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at http://askubuntu.com or http://ubuntuforums.org The problem with the screen being the wrong way up is a new one on me; I'd definitely file that as a separate bug irrespective of the CD issue. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1122100 Title: Live dvd issues To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1122100/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
