The program when invoked with the -h parameter does not report the -p switch. So the compiled executable is not aligned with the man page. Observed on version "7-Zip (A) 9.20 Copyright (c) 1999-2010 Igor Pavlov 2010-11-18" both on Ubuntu 12.10 and Mint 14.
