Hello Joe

sorry for the confusion this might be caused by my inexperience on this.

To answer your question, no I do not get the crash when I run apport-collect.
Please see my original description: when I boot from Linux 3.2.0-39, after I
log in the system freeze. I can still use the keyboard to reboot the system but
I do not have access to terminal or any window and therefore I cannot run
apport-collect.
please confirm this is now clear.

If I boot from linux 3.2.0-38-generic system does not freeze therefore I would
be able to run apport-collect if needed. Sometime (and not everytime I log in)
I have a crash on the package Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
2:2.17.0-1ubuntu4.3 (see description above).
Question, Do you want me to boot with linux 3.2.0-38-generic and run
apport-collect? or do you want me to run apport-collect just when and if I get
the error? or even forget this and concentrate on the freeze I experience with
Linux 3.2.0-39?

please clarify
Thanks
Franco
