I worked out a package for this. However, after considering the
problems, this package should never see the light of day. Notably, the
only way to reliably translate the RH network interfaces is to do it at
boot, every time. Which means you loose your ability to manage the
network like an proper Debian. If anyone wants this package, they can
ping me.
