FYI. Upgrade from 12.10 to 13.04 caused my system tmp directory to become
read only and then the upgrade failed and the kernel panic ensued. More bad
mojo. Be warned. I'm about to switch to Mac after being a loyal linux user
for the last decade. Linux sucks...
