I can't get to resume after suspend on s10-3? too.
But fix this with next:
sudo gedit /etc/default/grub
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quite splash intel_idle.max_cstate=0 nohpet"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="resume=/dev/sdXX"
set your resume device.
You can find the device your root partition is running on using: df -h.
