I'm working on the automated audio_test script, but I'd be happy to pick this one up too.
At first glance the mention of alsasrc in the pipeline makes this a dupe of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/checkbox/+bug/1059544, but the GstState error is something different.
