My mother uses feisty and is having problems watching her business news (bnn.ca). It appears to be the same issue (displays server URLs, etc then just 'Stopped'), but she says that it does work some days, and some days it doesn't. She said that one time it started working right after she ran a synaptic auto-update. I have no idea how this could be related; even if synaptic updated mozilla-mplayer, it wouldn't have updated the copy installed to firefox, which is what she uses.
Considering the spotty nature of the bug, could this have something to do with the server? Or maybe it's due to a malformed event in the connection...
