Found a solution, but not the reason for the problem...

I just combined KDE and Unity, that is, I now start with a KDE login and
put "unity" in the autostart. I had to resize/reposition the KDE
toolbar, because I use the Unity toolbar without autohide.

Unity just works like a charm, and there are no problems with dolphin or
unavailable KDE services anymore.
