I'd like to confirm that commits c44b225 and 6a41b4d are the cause of this bug. I created a test kernel, based off of v3.8-rc1, with those two commits reverted. This test kernel can be downloaded from:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1191603/reverted/ Can folks affected by this bug confirm that kernel resolves this bug? Also, just for completeness, can the stock v3.8-rc1 kernel also be tested, to confirm it exhibits the bug? It can be downloaded from: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.8-rc1-raring/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1191603 Title: raring-updates: regression: 3.8.0-24.35 causes sporadic failure of USB audio devices To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1191603/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
