The package should probably download the osm file on its own and compile it. Maybe the user should be warned about the requirements in bandwidth, CPU, RAM and - disk space. Better yet, can't we provide this date pre-compiled to the + disk space. Better yet, can't we provide this data pre-compiled to the user? It would require frequent SRUs, I guess.
