Hi, FYI I believe the issue is further upstream, i.e. with libmad, not mpg321. I am on Arch linux, and gcdmaster (a gui frontend to cdrdao, using libmad for mp3 import) converts mp3s to wavs which have the same problem (after doing this it fails, because it can't handle the faulty wavs!). If I convert the same file using mpg123 (not 321) it is OK.
