The problem lays inthe qtbase module of the Qt5 stack (qtbase-
opensource-src source package in Ubuntu)the
src/3rdparty/sqlite/sqlite3.c

These files are named starting with this prefix followed by 16 random 
alphanumeric characters, and no file extension. They are stored in the 
platform's standard temporary file directory, and are deleted prior to exit of 
the application using the sqlite3
This defaulty etilqs[.*]  (read backward :) ) file name scheme can be changed 
with using -DSQLITE_TEMP_FILE_PREFIX=myprefix_ on the compiler command line.
