Tim: To clarify, the issue is not with the touchpad itself, but rather with the *scrolling* feature on the touchpad. There are 2 drawn lines on the touchpad (on the bottom and on the right) that symbolize scrolling sideways and up/down. It is this scrolling feature that does not work. The touchpad itself is fine.
