After review of the mainline kernel test procedure, I assess the risk to
my production machine as being too high.

My near identical test machine (no nVidia card) does not exhibit the
problem.  It takes about 2 secs to display the password screen for the
encrypted USB key.

Note that my production machine (with nVidia card) does not use any
proprietary drivers.

Could you possibly supply a liveDVD iso image for my download that
contains kernel 3.11.0-031100rc4?  I would live boot my production
machine and test without risk.
