I worked around this a while back, by adding the following to a new file
/etc/pm/sleep.d/wifi:
#! /bin/sh
rfkills=$(ls /sys/class/rfkill)
#echo $rfkills
case $1 in
suspend|suspend_hybrid|hibernate)
rmmod psmouse
for rfkill in ${rfkills}; do
echo 0 > /sys/class/rfkill/$rfkill/state
sleep 1
done;
;;
resume|thaw)
modprobe psmouse
for rfkill in ${rfkills}; do
name=$(cat /sys/class/rfkill/$rfkill/name)
if [ $name = phy0 ]; then
echo 1 > /sys/class/rfkill/$rfkill/state
fi;
sleep 1
done;
;;
esac
