Hi. Yesterday, I completely erased the entire system and reinstalled
13.04 from scratch, since the other reinstalation did not work well. Now
the system configuration is:

     Gnome 3.6.3
     Kernel 3.8.0-29-generic (#42-Ubuntu SMP Tue Aug 13 19:40:39 UTC 2013)
     GCC Version 4.7 (x86_64-linux-gnu)
     XOrg Version 1.13.3 (17 April 2013 10:43:13PM)
     Display Driver Nouveau

So far there are no system crashes, no matter what I do (whether I
switch from Thunderbird to Firefox, or vice versa, or run both at the
same time, etc.). Also, the monitor is now displaying at the proper
resolution again (1280x1024).

However, I am still having a problem with Bibletime. None of the text
from any of the books will display in the text boxes. The text seems to
be there, but is not displaying. I will contact the Bibletime web site
and work on that problem later.

Thanks,
Greg.
