Actually the touchpad now works also with the old kernel 3.5.0-40, on 12.04
(where the broadcom card works properly). I just have to enable the touchpad
with the FN key.

I don't know exactly what was that fixed it. I suppose that it may be due to
the BIOS update, or it may bbe a combination of the steps I've done: first I
updated the BIOS to A05. The touchpad seemed to be still not working with
kernel 3.5.0-40 (and with 3.8 for 13.04). Then I installed the upstream kernel
v3.11. And the touchpad started working with that version of the kernel (both
in 12.04 and 13.04, but the broadcom wifi card stopped working). I tried again
kernel 3.5.0-40 on 12.04 and the touchpad works (after enabling with FN key,
and the wifi card works too)

Should I change the status in fixed?

Thank you very much for the help
