Dmitrijs-- it's not as simple as you make it out to be. dding an image over the USB stick requires a stick dedicated to the install, since it will overwrite whatever filesystem was there before. The hd-media installer on the other hand lets you just add/remove ISO files to the existing filesystem at will, without overwriting anything.
