hello, i use ubuntu 7.10, 64bit
often after having logged in in the gdm, the system freeze at the moment when i
can see the background.
so if during the loading period till the background i change the tty, and make
gdm restart i can start it normally.
but then there is this error with compiz.real. but my compiz.real works great,
with all its effects.
i am sure there is something common with this errors an compiz because when i
start gdm without compiz (with nv in the xorg.conf)
there are no errors.
the same error is when i try to shutdown or restart the notebook. it freeze
sometimes
thanks for fixing the bug. ubuntu is a very nice os!!
