That's right - in the latest gnome-settings-daemon we use the running/not running status of gnome-screensaver to decide whether to launch the media-keys plugin. I'm trying to see if we can avoid this, but in the meantime (and for Saucy release, since we're so close), you should keep gnome-screensaver installed to get media keys working. -- Iain Lane [ [email protected] ] Debian Developer [ [email protected] ] Ubuntu Developer [ [email protected] ] -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1237564 Title: Regression: some previous keyboard bindings & all newly created custom bindings fail if gnome-screensaver isn't installed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1237564/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
