The #4 work-around solved this problem on an x86 based install of Xubuntu 12.04.
Was there a security risk in that version of the package that the latest version was suppose to address? Aptitude is having a hard time locking in that specific back level version, thus thinks there is an update available all the time. What can I do to assist with resolving this bug?
