Suspended/resumed 540 times. The soft lockup bug did not occur.
Upgrade install 12.04 to 14.04 (Latest development release):
S/R 250 times (204
using dropdown menu, 46 with lid).
Installed updates. Bugs compelled a reinstall...
Installed a clean install of 14.04:
S/R 80 times (63 using
dropdown menu, 17 with lid).
Installed mainline kernel ( v3.12-trusty/ 08-Nov-2013 00:01 ):
S/R 210 times (167
using dropdown menu, 43 with lid).
If the bug is still there, it is much less.
Reinstalling 12.04.
