Ok I created from scratch the partition in gparted and you are right they start from 2048 now. I think the previous partition table have been created by a tool that generate bootable usb using syslinux.
I have checked the first file I have posted RESULTS.txt which refers to fedora and at that time the first partition was 2048 and I had also problem.
