On Saucy I just got kernel 3.11.0-14 via updates this morning. The bug is not fixed in this kernel release for Saucy. Same symptoms as described in this bug report: System boots, but internal screen stays black/blank, though external display shows Ubuntu desktop. The bug is fixed in 3.12.0-031200 I got from here: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.12-saucy/ Setting "CSM = enabled" doesn't help either, then no kernel boots on my UX31A (BIOS version 219, latest), but hangs right after selecting it in grub.
