This will probably preclude users from using both unity & gnome-shell in the same install??, (at least as far as settings panels While not a big deal, if so I suspect you'll get a number of bug reports from Gs users about not being able to access 'settings' (if when you fork g-s-d to u-s-d it creates more significant issues in a Gs session then maybe that should be addressed in some manner
