Allan Crooks, what would be most helpful is to not introduce suspend
into the mix, as this is typically treated as a separate issue,
necessitating a new bug report. Targeting a default setup, if you remove
the kernel parameter psmouse.resetafter=1, and test both the mainline
kernel v3.13-rc3 and the latest from Saucy (3.11.0-14.21), is this issue
reproducible after this BIOS update (not after suspending)?
