When I connect to my work vpn the network icon is updated with the lock icon but VPN in the network menu is still marked as 'off'. The only way to clear my VPN connection is to click on VPN again but not follow through with the connection, which disconnects the previous session before connecting. The Network icon at this point still shows a lock icon. The only way to reset the icon is to reboot or turnoff networking all together and turn it back on.
I'm using Gnome Ubuntu 13.10 amd64 which comes with Gnome-shell 3.8.4 network-manager 0.9.8.0-0ubuntu22 network-manager-gnome 0.9.8.0-1ubuntu5.1 network-manager-openconnect 0.9.8.0-1ubuntu2 if I upgrade to Gnome 3.10 from the Gnome3-team PPA's the network icon works without issue with openconnect. Seems like maybe openconnect isn't sending the correct signal or something. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1263883 Title: Status for network connections is not displayed properly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-openconnect/+bug/1263883/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
