Dmitry, I don't think we're using the built in-kernel vmblock. That's what's one of the reasons I wanted to keep the Devel package (for the moment) is because I had some specific changes for Ubuntu, that weren't in Debian. Some other ones were removing manpages of modules that have been removed from the package itself (like vmxnet3 or vmmemctl).
I would love to get these packages updated faster, but you guys aren't pushing monthly devel releases (that's one of the reasons why I was still using Devel releases) any more. And the git repo (when it still worked) is update the day before release. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1269985 Title: Revert package back to Devel release To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/open-vm-tools/+bug/1269985/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
