Same issue.
All opengl apps crash. Including multiple-texture-opengl video-output in
mplayer. Opengl screensavers, glxgears, games. They all make it crash.
However, it does not happen when:
- running metacity instead of compiz
In the past running games with compiz was slow.
Running games with beryl was fast.
Is there still a beryl repo for gutsy somewhere?
This could tell us if compiz is the culprit or not.
