Error messages like this enrage me.
"The update information is outdated. This may be caused by bla bla bla"
(another thing that enrages me is an error message that I cannot copy and
paste).
This tells me that there is a problem and doesn't give me the most basic
information I need to fix it: what repository or file could not be reached.
It then says "Please update manually by selecting Show Updates bla bla bla". If
I do so, I would expect to be able to finally see which repository is failing,
but no: i just get a popup that says "your computer is up to date".
