PS: There is quite a bit of information when I searched Google, though it's a bit hard to find and none of the suggested fixes work. However, as far as I can tell, this really is a driver issue, so I'm wondering is Ubuntu launchpad is the correct place to tackle this issue, since - afaik - this requires a kernel fix, not a fix in the Ubuntu code?
