Confirmed in Gutsy Tribe-5 32-bit. This affects a clean install, not
just the upgrade.
"System > Preferences" menu contains "Desktop Effects" which when used
causes an Error dialog-box that reads:
"Could not launch menu item"
"Failed to execute child process 'desktop-effects' (No such file or
directory)"
