As the TB is converging on a consensus about the use of the new Ubuntu Kylin archive, I'm happy to grant an FFe for this as a new package.
I have not done a full review of the source yet, but I noticed a few things when scanning the code: - backend/aptdaemon/dbus_service/apt_daemon.py adds an apt source for raring. This should certainly be updated to trusty for inclusion in 14.04. - the package uses dh_python2 and build-depends on python-dev. While we don't want to change this for 14.04, please note that python 2 is considered deprecated for Ubuntu at large and we encourage new software projects to use python3. - the archive listed in the source, http://archive.ubuntukylin.com/ubuntukylin, is not reachable for me. I don't know if that's expected, perhaps the server side is still in progress. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1293299 Title: [FFe]upload ubuntu-kylin-software-center into archive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntukylin/+bug/1293299/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
