as a side note: the icon is properly shown in the full version of the xubuntu 14.04. The only difference to my system I see is the icon copy in the /usr/share/app-install/icons/menulibre.svg (it's because I do not install the app-install-data package and I do not have app-install folder). But if I remove the icon together with the /usr/share/app- install/icon-theme.cache on the full installed system the setting dialog still shows the icon correctly. There must be some other way for xfce to find icons in /usr/share/icons/hicolor
