For whatever reason the F.48 bios does not work on my machine and I
always have to roll it back to the F.46 release. I've tried updating it
multiple times and windows 8 will not boot, which is kind of ironic
since the F.48 bios update is to ensure compatibility of the laptop
panel buttons with windows 8. When Windows boots it shows a frown face
and says something about a system error and just reboots. Ubuntu loads
with the F.48 bios but the wireless won't work. I went ahead and loaded
it just to see whether it made any difference on the waking from suspend
and it did not. I can hear the hard drive wake but the screen stays
black and I have to reboot. If you need me to print the bios screens I
can, but I'd rather not reload the F.48 bios yet again unless you really
need me to do so.
