I see one major problem with upgrading to FANN 2.2.0. That is, most language bindings haven't been updated for FANN 2.2.0 (see http://leenissen.dk/fann/wp/language-bindings/). Things like PyFANN for Python and AI-FANN for Perl would no longer be available, which would be a huge downside.
I would prefer both options (FANN 2.1.0 + language bindings, or FANN 2.2.0 + few language bindings) to be available in Ubuntu. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1164142 Title: libfann is outdated To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libfann/+bug/1164142/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
