Confirming Elfy's suggested fixed packages (post#56) solved the blank screen issue on my Fujitsu LIFEBOOK-S6410. But the command to remove it again seems to be wrong "sudo ppa-purge ppa:xubuntu-dev/ppa" -> "sudo: ppa-purge: command not found"
