Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
  * Bump version to 3.4.0.
  * Stop building for 3.3.
  * Bump version to 3.4.0.
  * Stop building for 3.3.

"Remove python 3.3 sources." seems to be fixed in Debian ("* Stop building for 
3.3.
")
