Since this issue is affecting more than one system (with different model) it's
unlikely to be BIOS-related
This webcam is now able to take pictures with 12.04.5 (8/4 dailylive) + cheese
on 201203-10664
(but not working with recording videos)
Should be verified on other affected systems as well
