post-factum, as bugzilla is not a preferred or primary point of contact for upstream as per upstream, you are largely wasting your time with it. You would want to post to the appropriate mailing list with the previously noted details, CC'ing the maintainer and perhaps someone who have committed towards your driver recently (~3-6 months)..
