Public bug reported: This is on Ubuntu Trusty, fully up to date on an x86 system.
Trying to use asterisk-flite, the "Flite" operation under the Asterisk PBX software. Manually loading the app_flite.so module results in a complaint of an undefined symbol cmu_lex_init, which is defined in libflite_cmulex.so. Thus, the module fails to load. Rebuilding from http://github.com/zaf/Asterisk-Flite using Ubuntu's Asterisk dev headers gave me a module which loads and runs correctly. So asterisk-flite is broken; its build rules need to be updated at a minimum, but probably best just to update your bits from the Asterisk-Flite project. ** Affects: asterisk-flite (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1367042 Title: asterisk-flite built with missing shared library reference To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/asterisk-flite/+bug/1367042/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
