This bug was fixed in upstream Linux and backported to the following
Ubuntu linux kernel package revisions:

3.2.0-61
3.5.0-49
3.8.0-39
3.11.0-20

The fix was picked up in the upstream 3.13 tree in March, 2014:
http://www.spinics.net/lists/stable/msg37786.html

If you are running a version of the 3.13.0-xx ubuntu package that is
from around that time, you should upgrade.
