Hi, I've set a workaround for uvcvideo buggy behaviour, I just set the buffer length to the maximum value if bytesused is zero. Anyway this is clearly a bug in uvcvideo since it violates the v4l2 api: http://linuxtv.org/downloads/v4l-dvb-apis/buffer.html
You should be able to upgrade from my testing ppa in a few moments (build pending).
