Just when I started to believe that the bug is gone, after 12 days and
23 hours of uptime on 3.17-rc7 it is here again:

The laptop was plugged in, I closed the lid, it suspended. I unplugged
and went to an external location. Opened the lid, some light
LibreOffice work. Skype and email client running in the background.
After about 15 minutes, I closed the lid and stowed the laptop away in
its sleeve and in my backpack. A few hours later I take it out of the
backpack and it is running hot with the fan at highest speed. Did not
suspend, and the bug is here.

The laptop is still somehow responsive, but it did not save my work
(small loss, I did not bother to save knowing that there is a risk).

Let me know if there is any diagnostic commands you want me to run.
Then I will reboot, install mainline 3.17.1 that was published two days
ago, and start the whole cycle again.
