This doesn't fix it for me, none of the workarounds work for me. The only thing that resolves this is logging out and back in, this is what I do every morning, logging in and out twice.
I'm affected by this bug since I upgraded to 14.10, but a colleague of mine has the exact same issue with a fresh 14.10 install. Is there anything I can do to speed up resolving this bug? I personally think this is the most annoying bug since years of professional Ubuntu use. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1297849 Title: Virtual private network connection fails after distribution upgrade due to outdated Network Manager configuration files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/1297849/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
