I had the same exact issue and the same resolution worked fine for me.
I am using MythBuntu Alpha 4 and I have done apt-get upgrade on both
machines just yesterday so it appears it hasn't been resolved.
I would really like to see this fixed in mythbuntu.... I can handle
issuing those commands but I imagine many people that download mythbuntu
won't be able to (or be too scared to).
