This continues to bite me on 14.04.

I have the newest unity installed:

exarkun@phonon:~$ sudo apt-show-versions unity
unity:amd64/trusty-updates 7.2.3+14.04.20140826-0ubuntu1 uptodate

It has been installed since Nov 7:

exarkun@phonon:~$ grep 7.2.3+14.04.20140826-0ubuntu1 /var/log/dpkg.log.1 | grep

I have rebooted since installing it (9 days ago):

More than 9 days have passed since Nov 7:
